What Your Results Mean
- WPM (Words per Minute): Your typing speed based on correct characters. Five correct characters count as one word, including spaces.
- Accuracy: The percentage of your character entries that were correct. Fixing a mistake improves your final text, but the original error still affects accuracy.
- Characters: The letters, spaces, and punctuation currently in your typing box.
- Errors Made: Every incorrect character entry, including mistakes you later fix.
- Uncorrected Errors: Mistakes that remain in your final text when the test ends.
These results are for personal practice, not an independently verified certificate.

Create Your Practice Certificate

- Type the displayed text. Your first character starts the timer; keep going until the selected time ends.
- Review your result and certificate, then choose Download PDF or Print Certificate.
Choose from 30 seconds or 1, 3, 5, or 10 minutes. A certificate is available after a completed test with at least one correct character and at least 90% accuracy. The PDF uses A4 landscape format. For browser printing, turn off headers and footers if shown.
What the Record Means
The certificate records an unsupervised practice attempt. The name is supplied by the participant. Test duration and difficulty are included so that different attempts can be understood in context.
Ask the recipient whether it accepts this type of record. Read the Certificate Policy before sharing it.
Your name, result, and certificate are created in your browser. The record reference identifies this copy. Restarting or reloading clears the attempt, so download your PDF before leaving.
