Typing Tools

Choose the tool that matches what you want to check. Each one has a specific job, from checking keyboard input to calculating the speed of an existing attempt.

Check Your Keyboard and Click Speed

• Keyboard Test — see which physical key positions your browser receives.
• Spacebar Counter — count separate presses or taps during a short session.
• CPS Test — measure mouse clicks or touch-screen taps per second.

Measure and Understand Typing

• WPM Calculator — calculate typing speed using character counts and elapsed time.
• CPM Typing Test — copy a passage while viewing your typed character rate.
• 10-Key Typing Test — practice number groups and review correct keystrokes per hour.

Choose a Consistent Setup

A phone keyboard, a laptop keyboard, and a numeric keypad offer different typing conditions. Use the same device and settings when comparing your own attempts, and read the tool’s explanation before comparing its units with another result.
